ABOUT US
Our History
Hiawassee Antique Mall has been in business since August 2004. We are owned by a small group of antique dealers, all of whom have been in the business for many years. We pride ourselves in having what we have been told is the nicest antique mall in Georgia, and we work hard at keeping it that way!
Our Dealers
We have 40 dealers currently with us, specializing in many different areas. One dealer carries a lifetime's collection of beautiful linens and vintage clothing. Another dealer specializes in 50's era kitchen collectibles. One loves tools, another baskets. One dealer has a cookbook collection numbering in the thousands. All of our dealers strive to have something unique and unusual so you don't feel like you're in every other antique store. We are special!
Our Town
Hiawassee lies cradled in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Hiawassee is also home to Lake Chatuge, a 7500 acre lake named after a nearby Cherokee settlement. Sport fishing is popular at Lake Chatuge, both in the reservoir and in the Hiawassee River below the dam.
Hiawassee is on the Georgia Wine Trail in Georgia Wine Country. The Georgia Wine Trail consists of 14 wineries of which 8 are located within 30 to 45 minutes, Blackstock Vineyards, Persimmon Creek Vineyards, Tiger Mountain Vineyards, Crane Creek Vineyards, Frogtown Cellars, Habersham Vineyards and Winery, Three Sisters Vineyards and Winery, and Wolf Mountain Vineyards.
